We spoke with several builders before choosing Veranda Estate Homes. We were immediately impressed with their straightforward approach and extensive expertise. Rob and Melissa initially guided us through the process of locating an excellent lot and designing the ideal house. Their suggestions and advice were invaluable. At the same time, they presented us with an initial cost estimate that proved to be extremely accurate. They pride themselves on their ability to adhere to a budget and this pride is well founded.
The building process went remarkably smoothly. Both Rob and Melissa are enjoyable to deal with. They communicate well and have unlimited time to address questions and concerns. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are backed up by a capable team of trades and craftsmen who obviously take great pride in their work. We were extremely happy with the quality, aesthetics and practicality of the final product. Melissa is an outstanding designer and Rob is an excellent builder.
A year and a half after taking possession, we can confirm that they also offer excellent follow-up care. As one would expect, they have a great after build service manager in the office. The few minor items that needed attention were taken care of quickly and completely.

A huge thank you to Veranda for building the perfect home for us. Buying a home is the biggest investment of our life and it’s important that the house reflects our family and values. Not only did Rob and Melissa understand this, they encouraged it and genuinely wanted this for us.

Our house was already in the construction phase when we purchased it. Most of the planning was already done but Rob and Melissa were more than willing to make adjustments to meet our unique needs. The trades were professional and our site manager was phenomenal. They were friendly, respectful and took extreme pride in their work. It was a smooth process and timelines were met. Veranda is fortunate to have such a fantastic team to support them. It’s easy to rhyme off catch words/phrases to describe our build: quality, attention to detail, transparency, flexibility, professionalism but it’s something much more than that. It’s hard to describe.

The move into our house was seamless. Immediately, it felt like home. Understanding the process is far from over when the keys were handed over, Rob and Melissa have gone out of their way to answer any of our questions and ensure we have the perfect home they built for us. I guess it comes as no surprise that we go out of way to tell people how great our experience has been with Veranda. Without hesitation, we would highly recommend Veranda.
