Always top notch quality built homes, from a company of people who actually care about their customers. If you want to be treated like family, whether you are a customer or a tradesman/woman, this is the company to deal with!

I hired this builder because they advertised high-quality, custom homes in Gray Hawk, but my experience has been entirely the opposite. Upon taking possession of my home, I found incorrectly installed light fixtures, despite being charged an additional $570 without prior discussion or authorization. The railing was missing glass, creating a dangerous hazard, and I was left to cover it with my couch to prevent falls. The temporary front stairs were unstable, and numerous other issues made it clear that quality or the safety of my family, friends and animals was not a priority.

My requests for respect regarding my time, privacy, and schedule were ignored. While they worked outside, my car and other personal property were damaged, and they left a huge mess for me to clean up. When I raised these issues, I received excuses rather than accountability, despite having video and photographic evidence of most incidents. The list of problems with True-Line is extensive, making it impossible to cover everything in one review.

Although they claim to build high-quality custom homes, they often ignored my design preferences unless I argued for them. Communication during the build and especially for warranty issues has been frustrating, with long delays and no accountability for their mistakes. Promises to fix issues were often unfulfilled.

For anyone considering this company, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The "custom" and "high quality" they advertise do not reflect the reality of my experience. Everytime I turn around theres another problem, but it’s easier to just fix it myself than deal with the negativity from True-Line. This experience has left me emotionally exhausted and frustrated during what should have been the most exciting time in my life.

I let a message for house extension.
They took the time to come to their office rather than me going to their office with my plans. Very friendly meeting and very professional, they know what they are doing!!!

We've been satisfied customers of Frontline for many years purchasing more than once with Phil and his late wife Sue.
And at our latest visits, we got some new ideas this time with Sales lady Kari Ann Hodge (and Phil). Many thanks, Sharen and Lorne Sayers

We purchased a custom True-Line home from the original owners only six years after the build. We initially thought we were purchasing a high quality home with higher quality finishings.
It became clear within the first few weeks that this may not be the case, as the finishing(s) we were observing were extremely sub-par.
Things like closet and other interior doors were showing signs of extreme wear (handles and ball catches were broken), stoppers were cracked (plastic) and the paint was chipping in various places.
Our cabinets were also showing a high degree of wear, with paint cracking around the interior trim on almost every level of the home. I have never seen this before in any home or condo we have owned/rented.
Cabinet doors don't properly line up, cabinet trim is falling off in various areas of the home, recessed lighting holes were improperly cut, electrical concerns, plumbing issues and wobbly stair cases are just a few things we have observed.
We had True-Line over to take a look at some of these issues however, there was no interest or willingness to resolve.
For a newer, custom built, costly home I must say that I am completely shocked to see these types of things. I suspect the home looked great for the first 2-3 years and was meticulously cared for by the previous owners however, the amount of money we are starting to sink into this home, just to repair these defficiencies is unacceptable.

We have had the pleasure of having True-Line build our last two homes. They are wonderful to work with, all the way from the office staff, Nabil in sales, Andrea in design and Derek & Ernie our site supervisors. The whole team is so professional and they hire only the best trades around. We have built four different homes with different builders in Red Deer and True-Line was by far the best! They keep their building site clean, they are quick to respond to any questions and concerns. We were given keys to our home so we could look in on the build at anytime. Most builders have you make an appointment to view your home under construction. They are very responsive in helping to solve any issues after we moved in. All warranty work was done quickly and to our satisfaction. Thank you True-Line!!!

Very poor quality work, looks ok but within a few years it looks terrible, from the ceiling to the dry wall lines, endless amount of lower quality work that they won't stand behind, cupboards all losing paint, toilet not installed right, garage heater caught on fire, glue that holds sink in on granite island was wrong and sink dropped down, carpet not installed correctly endless ,issues, they don't remember who you are, been here a few times and don't even know my name. I can post pictures for those who want. They have been here and don't warranty it so don't believe anything they say about getting it fixed.
Just an update. They came to look at all the issues of the house and said they will not cover any of the mistakes of there quality of work. Please do Not build your house with this company.

The following is the experience I had building a home through True-Line Homes in Red Deer. As you know, there are many builders to choose from in the city of Red Deer. That being said, quantity and quality are two different things. I believe that a home should be designed and built by a construction company that understands what ‘quality’ really is. True-Line Homes is that builder.

From the first meeting with Adrian Karsten, new home consultant, my wife and I knew we were dealing with a professional company. Adrian spent many hours explaining the process of the build as well as designing our custom floor plan for our home. He wanted to know what we wanted in a home so we would be happy, not what the builder thought was easier to build. We were informed that we are welcome on the build site at anytime during the build…no appointment necessary. Wow, there are not many builders who offer that freedom to their clients. You have to ask yourself, why shouldn’t I have free access to my build, it is my home and my money that is paying for the build!

I was at the build site daily. I wanted to make sure the walls were level and square…the way a house is suppose to be built. Not many builders make that a priority in this city. I would bring my own level and carpenters square to check…I never found one thing wrong, and I really tried to find something. I had the opportunity to work closely with Brian Glass, the site supervisor, “little’ Phil from True-Line Homes as well as many of the sub-trades. Brian was a pleasure to deal with and was always available to answer any questions I had. Unlike many other people I know who have used other builders, I enjoyed the building process and I am happy to say that I continue relationships I made with Brian Glass as well as some of the trades people years after the house was completed.

What really makes True-Lines Homes outstanding is their after sales service. Brian Glass has gone out of his way to make sure my wife and I are happy in our home. We were experiencing some drainage issues that had nothing to do with True-Line Homes, but did involve Melcor Developments. Brian took it upon himself to come and see what the problem was and then contacted Melcor on our behalf to explain the issue to them. Within a week Brain and the Melcor representative were on site and before I knew it, Melcor had a crew re-grading the area behind our property for better drainage. I thank Melcor for the fix, but I truly am impressed with Brian Glass. It wasn’t his job to get involved with this issue, but he took it upon himself to make sure we were happy, and we are.

To conclude, there are many home builders in Red Deer who will promise you the best home ever and deliver a cookie style home that just meets building standards. If you want a custom home, for the same price of the other builders, where the build quality is well above the average and you have input from the first time you sit down with Adrian Karsten, through the building process with Brian Glass and his team, then True-Line Homes is the only builder you should consider. Working with True-Line Homes was liking being part of a family…without the drama and the arguments…lol.
