Ok cool story. Jan and I go way back professionally. No recent contact (10 years or more) until I hear she painted a picture of my building I finished renovating in 2018. Painting was completed in 2016. During the reconstruction of my 100 year old building I left a section of wall clear of development. Original hand scraped fir walls just a rectangle of it for a plaque or something. FastforwRd and that painting of my building fits perfectly the space i unknowingly created for it. Jan has a special talent, I just wasnt aware she was a super hero till recently=)

I absolutely LOVE the work of Jan Poynter. We bought one of her paintings a number of years ago, and it still brings me joy each time I look at it. The painting features my husband and daughter picking blackberries alongside our dog Penny. It's an activity they did often in the summertime, and I'm so glad that Jan captured this moment in paint - it is a something our family really treasures. Jan is a true professional and the quality of her work is exceptional - highly recommend!

I met this artist personally when she generously donated a painting to the Vancouver Cancer Agency. She is a true professional and a skilled artist.
