We were lucky enough to be able to make a booking a month ago to bring our kids out for 3 nights. We stayed at the Lake chalet which a good size for what we needed, we will definitely be back next year but booking a bigger one since they're all super affordable anyways.
This weekend was one of many firsts for us, we never have rented / drove a motorboat so Telicia came out and gave us a full lesson and we got the hang of it in no time, also gave my toddler a paw patrol life jacket to use so that made his weekend as it was.
Although we weren't lucky enough to catch anything, there were trout literally flying out of the water constantly any direction you would look.
They have a bunch of farm animals for the kids to see, a nice little playground and a quiet place where you hear loons and ravens all day, but in a lovely way.
The cabin we were in didn't have a washroom but the washroom they have just across the driveway from us was incredibly clean and staff were always going around making sure things were in order.
We met so many people here, some who've been coming for 30 years so you know it's a favorite for many.
I can't wait to make this our new family getaway for years to come and to bring more people with us next time and for more then just 3 days.
Thank you so much to those who run this place, you made our anniversary weekend with our kids a really incredible time.

Four of us girls just came home yesterday, February 12th, 2024. None of us had ever been here before. What an awesome resort. We stayed in cabin #1. We had so much fun. Did some ice fishing, didn't catch anything, but still had fun. Did some tobogganing. I'm 68, lots of fun, but just about killed myself.😁Their goats are too cute, and lots of rabbits. Weather was gorgeous. I can't wait to go back. Loved it. 10 out of 10 for me.❤️

Our first trip to Mile High exceeded our expectations. Our family of 4 stayed in cabin #5. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to make our meals. The staff are all very accommodating and easy to talk to. It was nice having the staff come up to the cabin asking if we needed any new tea towels or a refill on toilet paper.||The kids had a blast swimming in the lake, playing on the playground, fishing and visiting all of the farm animals that they have. ||Renting a boat for a full day was easy and they had fishing rods that we rented as well. ||No wifi which we didn’t mind, it kept the kids outside adventuring! We were able to get service just down the road to check our phones as only Rodgers reception works at the resort. ||Overall we will be back to this hidden gem!

Cabin #3 was incredible with a beautiful propane fireplace that kept the room comfortably warm and the room beautifully lit. The view allows you to see Face Lake for those that love the great outdoors and nature. ||The shower was nice and hot and the gas oven made our pizzas incredibly delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly with excellent knowledge of the area for activities.||Can't wait to come back!

My friends and I have stayed here during every season, and have always had an amazing time. It is peaceful & beautiful & completely unique. I have stayed in both the rustic and delux cabins, and they have always been clean amd cozy and well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back for New Years to enjoy skiing, a bonfire and fireworks on the lake 😊

Absolutely incredible vacation for any couple looking for a relaxing way to enjoy the great outdoors. We enjoyed the cabin so much with the rustic fireplace and super comfortable bed! The Hosts were/are amazing as we look forward to coming back!

Mile High Resort was the best mini vacation we have ever taken. The staff were super nice, the accommodations were clean and amenities were easily accessible.
The farm was a favourite attraction for our 3 year old daughter, and the staff even allowed her to help feed the animals. The fishing was fabulous and the owner was great at recommending lures and top fishing spots.
We will definitely be back and may even make this a yearly tradition! Thank you everyone!
