I had the pleasure of working with Kara (Owner of LWI) and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She brings a fresh, innovative approach to her work, combining youthful energy with impressive professionalism. Kara has helped up update two spaces in our 1990s home: the master bathroom and kitchen. Both our experiences with her were exceptional. Her designs are not only beautiful, she pays careful attention to functionality. She asked lots of questions about how we use the space, what items we want to store, etc. In the design phase, she provided us with different design options for different budgets. She also guided us through timelines and made recommendations for suppliers and fixtures. During the renovation she was available to troubleshoot. The master bath and kitchen are my favourite rooms in our home thanks to Kara.

I rarely write reviews but I have been so pleased with Kara’s work ethic, professionalism and outstanding designs that I wanted to share my experience. A few years ago, after spending a number of weeks (along with hundreds of dollars!) trying to find the right flooring to complement my existing kitchen cabinets, in total frustration I headed to the Internet looking for help. I will be eternally grateful that I found Kara and Lone Wolf Interiors! I was so impressed by our first meeting that my initial request for flooring help morphed into paint choices, countertop suggestions, backsplash ideas and…well, a complete renovation of my home! We are now working on our second renovation together and again, I am blown away by Kara. These two projects are completely different venues and Kara had the skills and ideas for each of these homes, making each an individual and personal home for me. Kara is a true professional, responding to my many (and I do mean many!!) questions with patience and positivity, I always feel that we are in a partnership in my renovation dreams. For both projects Kara provided a comprehensive budget and a timeline for trades. As the projects progressed Kara always kept me in the loop of potential changes and adjustments so there have truly been no surprises. We'd been envisioning a reno of our kitchen and main living space for a long time and met with a few possible designers in the planning. Ultimately, we hired Kara because she was personable and really listened to what we wanted. She made very helpful, practical, and thoughtful suggestions to guide the design and gave us options. Kara is the best interior designer in the mid island region. She has an incredible flair for design and equally as strong with scheduling, project management, spec sheets and 3D-modelling. We have used her several times and couldn't be happier. She is essential to our process.
