Highly recommending Kinetic Inspections to anyone looking for an API prep course and attempting to write the exams. Todd was an amazing instructor, took the time to break down focal points and explain in great deal when required or someone needed help and was struggling. He makes the course engaging, encourages participation and has a very thorough understanding of the materials and codes, which he makes easy to understand and navigate through. The online self study is easy to navigate, very in depth and great learning tool. The self tests are a very good indicator of your progress and are a huge help in preparing you for the real exam. I will definitely be back for another course when it comes time to further my career.

Todd is a fantastic instructor and offers a realistic real world approach and presents with a trade perspective and understanding. He does not read page by page, but instead explains why each subject is important and rather than memorize, he teaches an understanding of the concepts. The API 510 prep course was organized very well and he broke down how to approach problems logically and sequentially. I was very quickly able to navigate the codes and RP's with his tips and extensive code knowledge. Would highly recommend if you're looking to take a prep course!

I took Kinetic Inspection's preparation course for API 570 in fall of 2024. The pre-course content was vast, but thorough, and it more than prepared me for the course and the exam. Both the problem sets, and exam practice materials are well-comprised, and had me feeling competent going into the exam. Todd was an excellent instructor and I would strongly recommend Kinetic's course offerings to anyone thinking about using them.

After doing my API 510 and 570 with Kinetic and scoring 465 and 480 respectively, compared to API 653 with CASTI scoring at 445 despite being more experienced in tanks, I would say its safe to say Todds courses are better learning material and also better value with its competitive pricing. I would recommend Kinetic to anyone planning to take an API exam. The self study was great, interactive, and the instructor replied to questions immediately with zoom personalized video explanations. Outstanding service!

Excellently outlined course. Todd explains course material in a relatable way, which makes it easy to remember important facts from code. I passdd both my API 653 and API 510 first try after taking Kinetic inspection courses.
Overall a great choice for exam prep.
