Home and cottages is such a beautiful store with carefully curated products. It’s a great place to come for gifts as well as furniture/ decor pieces for yourself. It is clear they take so much pride in their work and put a lot of thought into every aspect of their company. Now more than ever, it’s so important to support local family run businesses!

Kathryn from Home and Cottages has done an exceptional job creating comfortable and cozy spaces for me and my family. I first had her design our office space and she read our needs completely. This resulted in a calming, professional yet upbeat vibe. Then I had her come to my home. Kathryn picked perfect furniture for the living room and suggested upgrades to lamps and existing furniture. I appreciate how Kathryn incorporates existing family treasures and pieces of furniture into her designs so the family story is highlighted. Plus she encourages upcycling of existing pieces versus always buying new. Next the bathroom upgrade was stunning and before and after photos can be found on Home and Cottages website. The only downside now is when I look at other rooms in my house, I feel compelled to have them done next!!! I highly recommend and I now tell my friends and family about Kathryn’s work.

Kathryn did an excellent job decorating my living room/kitchen space. Her choice of wall colour was perfect. We love our new couch and area rug and our reupholstered antique chairs look fantastic.
This mother and daughter team are a wealth of design and decor knowledge and their easy-going personalities make shopping delightful.
Their show room is bright and warm and this cozy atmosphere invites you to browse and soak in each space.
I highly recommend Home and Cottages services. This is a true Edmonton gem!

I was overwhelmed with the thought of renovating the main floor of our home but Kathryn at Home & Cottages made the process so achievable! Her creative design ideas were so inspirational and her step by step approach made it stress free. I love the look and feel of our space and feel so comfortable in it! The colours Kathryn chose all worked together so well and we ended up with an updated and fresh look that still suited our style. We are so happy with the result!

I had the most amazing experience hiring Kathryn of Home & Cottages re-decorate my condo!! She made every step of the process incredibly EASY and the end result was perfection!!! I went from living mostly in my bedroom because I didn't love the rest of my space, to living AND loving ALL of it! I originally made contacted with Home and Cottages in the spring of 2021 - for some advise on paint colours for a home renovation.

The owner of Home and Cottages (Kathryn) came to my house
to ascertain what my vision for my renovation was all about.

It quickly became clear that I needed her expertise and inspiration on far more than just paint colours.

Her ability to take my thoughts and turn them into colours and textures that represent who I am and the energy I was looking for was uncanny!!!!

Since that time Kathryn been involved in the renovation of my business office. My business partner and I have not stopped hearing the complements on the transformation of our space.
