Very cool place. It's like a grocery store for construction materials! Alas.... some of the prices are not far off of new, and I'm sure the pressure treated wood is a little more than Rona's. Windows are expensive.. there is a ton of other stuff to be found, though. Watch for their 30% off specials..

Great spot to find some good finds for building and renovation projects. Good deals on some of the truly recovered construction items and many unique one of kind restoration items but be mindful that over the last many years they have gone up market on many items and there is now a significant inventory of faux furniture and household items imported from Asia made to look old and made with who knows what kind of material or finishes. Pricing is also on the rise for all those recovered and faux aged pieces as demand for that style of furnishing has increased. If you find just the right item you need here just be prepared to pay for it. This isn’t a place for deals anymore but a great variety of stock and interesting items you will find.

Really appreciate the staff and this place is a treasure trove of goodies just be carful or you will loose track of time lol I'm not a home builder i don't buy sinks and doors or anything like that but i do have a plethora of odd jobs Wierd requests and macgyver fixes and i like going to demex when I need options like one example i needed to install enough lights to fully ilumimate my shop and the space EMIDIETLY in front i priced out motion lights from c tire and home depot and both were over $200.00 and that's without bulbs after stopping at demex i found six 250w ballasts and bulbs for a total of 40 bucks 😁 i also like how the inventory changes all the time
