They helped me immensely, taking my out of control debt with insane interest down to a manageable monthly payment allowing me to get back on my feet. They were great throughout the whole process, and were able to answer all of my questions (I had alot of them) Everyone from the initial guy who helped me through to now (My proposal was just officially accepted after the 45 day period of waiting) as i set up my first counseling appt, and I am excited to get my life sorted without this mountain of debt and interest hanging over my head.

Go somewhere else to do your consumer proposal or bankruptcy.

We were given false information:
•They told us we wouldn’t get locked out of our bank account - we did! Our bank wasn’t even included in our proposal.
• They told us that the accounts in our proposal would be closed, but I found out they are being reported as missed payments through equifax. That makes it 10000x harder to fix your credit after. AND they won’t help get it changed claiming that it’s a “privacy thing”.
• Their credit counsellors that do the 1 hour meetings belittle you and treat you like you’re less than because you did a proposal.

Honestly, it’s not a good experience. It’s already hard enough making the decision to go this route and they make you feel worse. If I could give a 0/10 I would!! After talking with other people in the industry there are much better companies to help you without making the process harder than it needs to be.
