When i first came in the service was great. Very helpful. I got two samples. They told me the samples could only be made in the Ben brand. I tested them liked one colour, came back ordered one quart on the ben brand and one quart of the Aura bath and spa
I started with the aura on the ceiling, it covered more than i expected and brought it down onto the wall. After one coat i needed to open the ben brand and the colours were completely different. I went in, exchanged it and was told i had to use the aura brand and they would give it to me for the ben price that day and moving forward as i did not want to use the aura with the price point in the whole space.
I needed a new can for touch ups today and was not given the aura for the ben price. The lady was argumentative, went back and looked at the notes but said the problem was fixed and honoured.
Why would i make that up? I didn't imagine it being said, i wouldn't have agreed to that going forward as i didn't even want to use that paint on the walls in the first place. So they messed up the formulas, up sold me on super expensive paint and now thats the only option i have. My first and last experience with Benjamin Moore paints.

Bought a lot of paint here over the years, but they have gone downhill recently. Poor tinting quality (doesn’t match colour chip and previous painted walls), and once gave me a whole gallon in the wrong sheen. We always try to support local businesses and I like BM paints, but will drive elsewhere to get them.

Angie, the store manager, went beyond the extra mile to solve my deck stain issue. She even showed up after work hours with the right products to make sure my deck was stripped and ready for re-staining. I have never seen that level of dedication and customer service. She along with her paint man, Remington deserve a huge accolade from the owner (and probably, a decent raise). I won't even consider going to another paint store.

My project involves painting my entire exterior house and staining two massive decks. I was planning on use BM products and tools for this big project. I went to the store today to get two paint samples, cleaner for my siding, deck stain, and painting tools. The store limits to 1 customer at a time, so I was the only customer in the store. When I asked for help picking out the right type of stain I needed for the deck (I had a color in mind), the sales person told me he was too busy to help me. I asked for clarification, because I was the only customer in the store. He repeated that he was too busy to help me because he had stuff to do in the back before 5pm and there were only two staff working. I am extremely disappointed in this businesses attitude to provide zero customer service. Guess I will be shopping else where.

We had to match some paint and stains for a kitchen upgrade we did. Firstly they answered my phone call which is basic, but not everyone does it in todays digital world. They where helpful, knowledgeable and more importantly Remington knew what he was doing. A prefect match on the wood stain and on the wall paint. Outstanding job, prompt service and quality product. Thank you.

Went in to buy some bathroom sealant. They have sold me a product that was expired by more than 6 months. When I came back to return it no apologies were offered. Wasted an hour of my time. Very unprofessional service. Went to Dulux down the street and bought the same thing for less than half. Will not be coming back.

In response to owner's comment:

The problem is the fact that I wasted my time going back to the store the second time when I could have worked on my renovation project that I was in a rush to finish. This is not about the $17 I've spent on two tubes of the premium silicone. Your manager didn't apologize (all she said that this shouldn't have been on the shelf) and didn't offer a discount of her own free will. A 10% discount was offered when I said I shouldn't be paying for the items. As a premium priced shop you shouldn't be selling expired products. Your staff's incompetence was the reason I've wasted my time. Their unwillingness to understand and rectify the situation shows that at your business customer doesn't come first.

Not a lot that I can really say about a paint store. Given that I knew exactly what I wanted, there was no need for any consultation. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Actually revising my review after today's visit. Super friendly staff, went beyond to assist. Five star service.
