tradesmen renovated my entire townhouse. They did an excellent job! Karen is very knowledgeable about all aspects or the renovation business. She was very helpful in helping to make design choices when I was wallowing in the endless choices that are available these days. Karen made the process very easy and I am totally thrilled with the outcome. I love how my townhouse looks! Do not hesitate to call Karen at Azzurra! Her prices are more than fair and the product is excellent! You won’t regret it!

Karen recently renovated my master bathroom, and i’m so happy with how it turned out. When Karen initially came out to measure, she suggested some ideas I hadn’t thought about that really transformed the space. She has such an eye for colours and the combinations put together make it feel like a spa. I love it.

Karen renovated our kitchen and did an amazing job. We are very happy with the result! We had a our closed in tiny kitchen opened up to our dining and living room. Now we have alot more room with a nice big island...and the new white quartz counter tops look amazing.

After seeing work Karen had done in our neighbour's basement suite and hearing how happy they were with the project and its cost, we contracted Azzurra to complete a large renovation for us. We had a GREAT experience with Karen and Azzurra. From the very beginning, she provided us with sound advice and an itemized list of materials and services and their projected costs. When compared to other quotes we'd received for similar services and grades of materials, Karen's estimates were almost identical, if not cheaper. At a minimal and reasonable increased cost, she designed and provided us with an entirely new, larger, and more functional kitchen than it would have cost us to only reface existing old cabinets through a big box store or local refinishing business. If services were not required or took less time than quoted, costs were adjusted down. The final amount was as budgeted, no additional funds were requested. In fact, on numerous occasions, Karen reminded us of our budget and ensured we didn't make decisions out of line with what and why we were renovating. She was honest and professional at all times, quickly responded to our questions and requests (even on weekends or in the evenings), and called sub trades back to redo work at no additional expense when it was not up to our satisfaction. She coordinated our project so that it was completed in a timely manner and we didn't have to take on the stress of doing that ourselves. As for her store being closed, we never had a problem because we always arranged meetings via text beforehand. We were given full attention when there and samples to take home before making decisions. We would happily hire Karen and Azzurra again.

Edit: No where in my review did I mention Knotty Boys Construction. This review is for Azzurra and the absolutely horrendous experience I had in dealing with them.

I don't have many regrets in life, but working with Karen and Azzura is one of them. Multiple aspects of our project went wrong. Our suite shower not being done as planned for with Karen is one example. We picked cabinets at the store and another brand was installed without our consent is another example. Karen denied responsibility. My question is is what was the point in spending hours in the store taking about our design and picking materials if there would be no oversight that this was actualized? In my opinion there was little to no accountability or professionalism demonstrated throughout the process.
More concerning, was the deception, in my opinion, that Karen maintained on behalf of our contractor (also an awful human in my opinion.). Zero stars would be a more appropriate review here.

Absolutely awful experience. Karen ordered our kitchen island 2 feet longer than agreed. Even the counter top showed up the right size and she blamed them! Can't pull the fridge out now. It was then she completely ghosted us and our project. The sink rusted and not all our cabinet doors showed up. If you have an issue with her professionalism, she emails threatening to sue you. I'll post that when she sends it....
She's a con artist along with her business colleague knotty boys.

Excellent communicator with a high level of execution. The best contractor experience so far. I had Karen recommended to me by family members and I'm glad they did. This company will be my first call for any future projects done around the house. Thank you Karen!

If you like getting ripped off, then Karen is your ‘designer’. Here’s an example, she cannot give you a price per sq foot for anything that you’re looking at. It depends on ‘freight’ according to Karen. Literally no prices. Okay, but at least a ball park? Nope. Everything is either in your price range or not. Secondly, she keeps responding to reviews by blaming Sam Orchard and Knotty Boys. And yes, he took a great deal of money from us and did very little work, however she stood right beside him and told us that Sam and her were business partners. She also said that Sam had paid her for all of our materials, and that they were on their way. Karen now says that she didn’t order anything because Sam didn’t pay her and now we are out 85k. Save your money and go to an honest person, not someone who has terrible taste and is a train wreck pretending to be a designer.
